This story is about a female immigrant who came to the US by herself, without husband, relatives or close friends, in pursuit for love, happiness and better life opportunities for herself and her little son who was waiting for her in Russia to obtain a legal immigration status and bring him over to the US.

This novella is about family relationships, violation of human rights, love and dating, and a strong power of religion and belief in God that unites the Christian Orthodox people, helps them withstand hardships and survive.
